UPDATES! You know how I said that April was a terrible month? Well… May is just as bad as well! How did Scanlation Groups end up with really bad and horrible days to have their Anniversaries??? Share your speculations because I don’t know… I really don’t… But whatever! We’re just gonna roll with it and I hope you guys will roll with us too =D

Since Evil Flowers‘ members have been abducted for the majority of this month for exams, final presentations and projects… they’ll be moving their special 4th Anniversary release sometime in June. So they’re NOT dead!! Please wait patiently for us as always because we have a SUPER SPECIAL SURPRISE for you girls and guys. You’ll all LOVE IT.

Next, I BOUGHT HIRUNAKA NO RYUUSEI VOLUME 5. IT’S GORGEOUS, FULL OF CUTENESS AND FUN AND HAS THE MOST ADORABLE ONESHOT IN IT EVER. Um… oh yeah, and Volume 6 is coming out this month on the 24th. WOO!!

I think SDS will be able to release one more chapter of Dreaming Cat Varim this month because that’s all we mostly have time to do for now. SDS is still alive too!!

Hooray!! Some in-house releases!! By gads, if only there weren’t so many tests this month, we’d have more nice releases!! But alas, we’ve gotta wait for the staff’s holidays for that to happen.

I don’t know if you’re actually excited about any of the releases today, but… there they are! Take ‘em or leave ‘em. True to SDS style, things happen when things happen–we hope you don’t mind =] Here are the releases first by the way. You have no idea how long these three releases have been in ‘half done’ mode for. Practically a whole year (yes, since last anniversary)–we’re pretty boss. Anyway, if you care to read more about the peeps of SDS, then be my guest and continue reading after the download links.

Muramasa Chapter 13: MediaFire || The last chapter Cros was able to translate for us ]=
~asterisk~ Oneshot: MediaFire || This was an awkward oneshot, I’m glad we know now. ‘Cause it’s collected in an anthology and has a sequel called “&~ampersand~” XD
Kimi Daruma Oneshot: MediaFire || This was pretty darn adorable.

Now a little bit about the mysterious Silent Dreams staff… Everyone on SDS is pretty chill. They’re cool people. Quite a bit of the original staff is still here from our beginnings at OtakuZone (a manga and anime community). People like Mitsuki, RainSong, HinamoriMomo, Karopyu (aka Puppyfriend), darkflames13, Niiicole and Cheshire~ All these girls are quite awesome, staying with SDS for so long. Of course, we’ve gathered other new and fun members along the way too =D Cool peeps like tubes, souka, sarasaradon, Sapphire097 and Memory. (Some people I didn’t mention because they haven’t done much of anything yet xD) I’ll tell you guys a little about them, so can get a feel for their awesomeness and contribution.

• Mitsuki — She has another scanlation group called Animanga Cafe. Typesets anything I ask her to typeset and does it FAST. She goes to like every anime convention and cosplays like a boss. Probably wasn’t supposed to mention that.
• RainSong — Super niiice!! She always contributes despite being busy and checks up on our wellfare <3 Always doing a beautiful job cleaning and handles any GFX jobs that we need to get done.
• HinamoriMomo — She takes care of Soukai Kessen so well… and if you’re wondering why she’s so busy, it’s because she has awesome dreams of being an English Teacher in Japan! Wish her lots of luck and give her lots of love for what she does despite being really busy with Uni.
• Karopyu — Awesome cosplayer. I mean… -cough- she’s always willing to lend a hand for any project that needs cleaning! I secretly like to affectionately call her Karururururu, etc.
• darkflames13 — She’s more of a ninja member now, but she’s the main typesetter for Muramasa and is doing her best to be AWESOME in university!! She comes back during her breaks to see if anything needs any help =]
• Niiicole — Always trolling… Whale then.
• Cheshire — She used to translate Sakura Zensen (WOAH WE’RE GOING DEEP INTO THE PAST NOW) from Indonesian for us before we dropped the project. And now she’s back as a lovely typesetter~
• tubes — ALWAYS RELIABLE! I ask him to typeset something, and he’ll come back a few days later and be like “Sorry, for being kind of slow” and I’m like “Dude, you’re awesome.” Show your props to this guy, he takes care of our Shonen projects and makes things happen.
• sarasaradon — Our lovely and young Don <3 Our Iranian-Japanese princess translator who takes care of our oneshots. She doesn’t even let strict internet laws stop her from sending us scripts!
• Sapphire097 — She is AMAZING! Her cleaning is absolutely beautiful. The work she does on Hirunaka never ceases to amaze me because she can get rid of everything! She also likes Kpop.
• Memory — Proofreads Hirunaka and most of our scripts like a boss. She’s really helpful and has already contributed so much to this group.
• souka — This guy is freakin’ awesome, and that’s an understatement. He oversees a group called Matteiru Scans and translates so much manga, so well, so quickly. Not to mention, he’s a great cook and will one day have his own yakitori and sushi stand.

I’d like to acknowledge that many wonderful people have come and gone from SDS throughout these years. And their contributions made Silent Dreams into what it is today =] Thank you guys for your support and we hope to be still be here for year 4! Much love from Silent Dreams!!

Major shoutout!! Does anyone possibly know where to snag Chinese RAWs or complete Chinese scanlations for Chotto Edo Made?? I’m finding very sporadic chapters of it, but nothing concrete. We just need ‘em for translating purposes. We’ve already got raws to clean =]

And are there any Japanese translators who would like to continue Muramasa by Tetsuhiro? Because if not, we’re going to drop it after chapter 13. We’ll pick it back up anytime as long as there’s a translator for it though.

Hmm… okay, so on my manga buying list, I need to snag Hirunaka no Ryuusei volume 5, Brave 10 S volume 3 and Narukou Animal Club volume 1. OH WAIT WHAT? Did I just say Narukou Animal Club?? Yeah!! It came out with its first volume recently and we’re gonna do it [eventually] :’D (Click the link to check it out on Amazon JP) But I have to go to the store first haha. Oh!! And awesome news! Sukitte Iwaseru Houhou is ending next month, so we’ll be set at I believe at… 9 volumes! Lovely!! We were going to restart the series soon anyway :’D

What else? Oh! Kiyoko Arai released another short one volumer series, I believe. I’m gonna snag that too if I can just ’cause… I want it -shifts eyes- Not necessarily to scanlate or anything, but… (Click the link to check it out on Amazon JP) Hot pancakes, I so wished that was Kiri, Narumi and Ochiai because that cover is steamy–for a murder mystery manga, hooray!!

And finally, THIS IS HAPPENING (Click the ANN link to find out what’s happening). I love High School Debut! I’ve got it on my bookshelf 8D (Now for more ANN news about Margaret’s special 50th anniversary issue) You guys don’t know it yet because we haven’t released the chapter that says this (chapter 17), but Mika Yamamori is actually good friends with Heroine Shikkaku author–Momoka Koda. So it’s AWESOMELY fitting that they’re doing a collab with each other. WOOOOO!!

Hooray! We’ve made it to three years of awesomeness :’D Thank you to all of the readers who’ve supported our releases! We will make it to year FOUR?

On a lamer note, having an anniversary in the middle of April is HORRIBLE. Half the world has their final exams in March and the other half of the world is having all their final tests before the final exams in April D8 We’re gonna have to figure out something much better next year, so that we’re not terribly swamped… But ANYWHO!!

We greatly thank Evil Flowers and Random Scans for all their cooperation for today’s release :’D They helped us out so much last year too, so please drop a comment of thanks on their blog posts too if you can. (Evil Flowers is having some technical difficulties with their posting, so please wait patiently for them ^^) Their effort is GREATLY appreciated ^^ Today’s release was only possible through everyone’s cooperation between our group and theirs.

It’s been over a year since we’ve jointed with Random Scans on Brave 10 and exactly a year since we’ve started releasing Hirunaka no Ryuusei with Evil Flowers! We’re hoping that we’re still jointed with them for next year as well~
